ACCESS Assembly 2022

ACCESS Assembly 2022 took place on 15 and 16 June 2022 at the XFi building on the University of Exeter campus. The main aim of the two days was to bring together the ACCESS network. Inviting university expert researchers and ACCESS partners to start thinking about how we might deliver some of the project’s aims.

Evaluating the first ACCESS Assembly

We carried out two assessments to look at how well we met our objectives

  • bringing together a range of partners from different sectors,
  • providing an opportunity for networking early in the project
  • enabling discussions around the aims of ACCESS
  • providing an opportunity for the Guiding Principles Team to embed principles of Environmental Sustainability, Knowledge Co-Production, and EDI within the Assembly
  • using the event as a reflection and benchmarking moment early in the project to inform the ongoing development of the Guiding Principles.

Visual Minutes

Johnny Glover was our Visual Minute Taker at the Assembly. Johnny expertly captured each session on paper with great illustrations, key words and ideas. We liked his style and humour (particularly us all dancing the conga – see if you can spot us).

We hope this visual summary of the two days will be a useful reminder for those who were there. And for those who weren’t, we hope it will spark your curiosity to join the network and/or work with us in the future.
