Shortlisted for the Organisation Award at this year’s C-DICE National Postdoc Conference

Update – Unfortunately we didn’t receive an award but congratulations to the runners up and winners.

We are excited to learn that we have been shortlisted for the Organisation Award from the Centre of Post Doctoral Development in Infrastructure Cities and Energy (C-DICE).

Empowering Postdocs is a major part of our work. We provide numerous opportunities to develop, support and encourage researchers to translate their research into policy and successfully co-produce work with different stakeholders.

These opportunities include the Flex Fund which offers career enhancement opportunities for researchers at all stages particularly Early Career Researchers (ECRs). We also organise annual summer schools, open to all, focusing on Impact, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Environmental sustainability and Knowledge co-production (Guiding Principles). Our Leadership College was set up to champion and support Environmental Social Scientists across all sectors to share ideas and to encourage more collaboration and innovative thinking to meet net-zero goals. Our weekly newsletter and website signposts jobs, funding and training opportunities, calls for evidence, events and opportunities for collaboration. We provide networking opportunities at annual assemblies and share inspirational stories from speakers where research has informed policy and practice.

The winners for the awards will be announced at the National Postdoc Conference on Tuesday 19 September at Loughborough University.
