MSc Environmental Policy and Management (University of Bristol)
MSc Investigative Psychology (University of Liverpool)
I worked as a senior lecturer in Criminology for 10 years at the University of the West of England before changing careers and moving to the conservation sector. I worked as a social scientist at the RSPB on their nature on your doorstep (NOYD) project before joining Natural England as a senior specialist in social science in 2021. I now specialise in human wildlife conflict applying models and methods from social psychology to issues of human species interaction. I work with interdisciplinary teams and support participatory approaches to conflict management and issues of coexistence.
Human wildlife conflict and coexistence. Areas I have worked on include species translocation and reintroduction, species licensing and regulation, recreational disturbance and species conservation.
I also work on issues on interdisciplinary working within Natural England and collaborative and public participatory approaches to nature recovery.
