Accessibility Report

Checked WCAG 2.0 (Level AA) using AChecker. “Known Problems” PASS. “Likely Problems” PASS.

Checked and updated by the web designer JV March 2023. Checks will be routinely made over the following months.

Known – and unavoidable – problems

A) Font Awesome uses “i” or “<i>” for their code. This is universal and not specific to just our website (if we choose to use Font Awesome) and unavoidable. It naturally returns as an issue on AChecker (1).

B) Alt text for icons, functional or purely decorative aspects of this site: I have still added Alt text even if they are not required or duplicated on some pages. Some Alt text will naturally be duplicated without me knowing (1). This returns as an error on AChecker but could in fact be interpreted as incorrect/redundant. (2)

C) This website has been made bespoke as per our client needs. Some bespoke requests, although built with Accessibility in mind, may return minor errors which will not impact everyday use of the site. This is not currently the case but future updates may return “likely” issues. We currently have no likely issues.

References and reasoning

3) This website has web editors. Whilst every effort has been made to promote and maintain a high level of accessibility on our website, some aspects of the site will need revisiting regularly.
