About the organisation(s) I've worked for

Organisation name:

About my experience and expertise

Personal statement:

I am a political economist specialising in critical minerals governance, extractive industries, and energy transitions across African contexts. My research employs political settlement analysis, comparative case studies, and qualitative methods to examine power dynamics and equity considerations shaping just transitions. I have extensive experience conducting fieldwork in Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, and Malawi, working with communities, policymakers, and civil society organisations. I integrate political economy insights into policy development and champion inclusive approaches to sustainable development and resource governance.

Key topic areas of research or interest:

  • Political economy of extractive industries and natural resource governance
  • Critical minerals governance and supply chains
  • The political  economy of Energy transitions and climate-compatible development
  • Just transition frameworks and equity considerations
  • Disability inclusion in energy and transport transitions

Collaboration opportunities:

I welcome collaborative research projects examining extractive governance, critical minerals, and energy transitions, particularly comparative studies across African/continental contexts. I am interested in joint grant applications, co-authorship of academic publications and policy briefs, and partnerships with universities, research institutes, and civil society organisations.

I am available for consultancy work including political economy assessments, policy advisory services, stakeholder engagement design, and capacity building for development practitioners. I welcome opportunities with international organisations, bilateral agencies, and transparency initiatives requiring expertise in extractive sector governance and inclusive energy transitions.

Additionally, I am interested in expert commentary and media engagement on issues related to resource governance, energy transitions in Africa, and disability-inclusive development.
