About my experience and expertise



Personal statement:

I am Professor of Environmental Psychology at the Welsh School of Architecture and the School of Psychology, Cardiff University; and associate director of the ESRC-funded Centre for Climate and Social Transformations (CAST). My research focuses on public engagement with climate change and sustainable lifestyles and behaviour, with a core interest in the attitudinal and behavioural aspects of environmental policies.

I have published extensively on behaviour change for climate change, health co-benefits of energy performance investments within the built environment, and public support for Net Zero policies.
