Personal statement:
I am a human geographer and social scientist with expertise in climate adaptation and mitigation, net zero, the policy/science interface, interdisciplinary research, primary research as well as disaster risk reduction and disaster research, particularly regarding the role of local knowledge, culture and long-term processes in community vulnerability and resilience. I am responsible for ensuring that net zero policy and actions across government and elsewhere are informed by robust social and behavioural science.
