About my experience and expertise

Personal statement:

I am currently a researcher at Climate Outreach, working to understand how people engage with climate change and climate policies. I holds a PhD from the University of Exeter, which explored how young people experience environmental education, alongside an MSc in Education for Sustainable Development and a BA in Education Studies from the University of Plymouth. My specialisms include environmental education, climate change, participatory research, and qualitative research methods. My work is shaped by a long-standing interest in understanding how places, cultures and experiences shape people’s engagement and relationship with climate change and nature.

I have worked across the charity, education and research sectors, delivering and evaluating projects that engage people in environmental and social action, including fellowships at the University of Plymouth and the University of Exeter, and roles at Global Action Plan and the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans).

Collaboration opportunities:

Research collaborations with Climate Outreach on topics relating to mitigation, net zero, adaptation, public engagement with climate policy, behaviour change.
