Personal statement:
I am an environmental social scientist with a background in ecology and oceanography, holding a recently completed PhD and previous experience as Ocean Recovery Advocacy and Policy Manager at WWF Cymru. I have a specific interests in nature restoration, and nature-based solutions in the context of climate change and the transition to net-zero. I currently work at the University of Aberdeen and the James Hutton Institute on a project aiming to prioritise evidence gaps for river woodland restoration in Scotland.
