Personal statement:
I am a sociologist working primarily in the field of ethnic and migration studies, focusing on the settlement processes and outcomes of immigrants with ethnic minority backgrounds in major Western societies. My main interest in relation to environment and climate change is the public engagement of different social groups with net zero interventions (particularly ethnic minorities with immigrant backgrounds), including the policymaking that shapes those engagements, as well as how those engagements in turn influence broader social, cultural, and political outcomes in our society.
Collaboration opportunities:
I am particularly looking for collaborations on understanding and promoting ethnic minority communities’ public engagement in Net Zero Transition.
