About my experience and expertise

Personal statement:

I am working on evaluating community-led interventions to maximise the health and well-being of climate change adaptations for the extreme events project in the Department of Geography at Exeter University. I am a medical anthropologist and also work as a research fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine on the SUCCEED Africa psychosis intervention.

Key topic areas of research or interest:

My research interests lie in climate change adaptations, global mental health, green spaces and health, sickle cell disease and trait, infant health, energy poverty and thermoregulation. I would like to develop more work in the area of inequalities and nature based solutions for mental health.

Collaboration opportunities:

I would like to develop more work in the area of inequalities and nature based solutions and for mental health and rewilding.
