About the organisation(s) I've worked for

Organisation name:

University of the West of England

About my experience and expertise

Personal statement:

I am an Associate Professor in the Science Communication Unit at UWE Bristol. I lead the Inspire Sustainability education outreach and community engagement programme, supported by my Climate Action Hub education and action projects.

I have been Principal Investigator of several research projects, as well as managing communications for international research collaborations, and publish widely on these topics.

I hold a DPhil in Psychology, and explore community engagement from a social cognitive and social identity perspective. My research interests include community energy, community climate action, and developing involvement in research for under-served audiences, particularly for sustainable development. I have been Principal Investigator for several trans-disciplinary research projects on these topics, as well as managing communications and dissemination for international research collaborations.
