Organisation name:

Environment Agency

About my experience and expertise

Personal statement:

I am a social scientist in the Environment Agency, working on all topics related to the EA’s work remit – water management, flood risk management and regulation. I have expertise in evaluation methods and approaches, applying principles from the Magenta book to policy interventions and delivery pilots.

My current work is on interactions between members of the public and water environments. I’ve recently managed research on risk communication for bathers, using a behavioural insights framework to scope out potential improvements.

I’m interested in governance and power relations and have a background in political science.
