About the ACCESS Network

What is the ACCESS Network?

ACCESS aims to make social science expertise more accessible. We have created a publicly available, searchable database (The ACCESS Network) of social scientists and experts working in the fields of climate and environment.

The ACCESS Network includes academics in universities as well as those working in the public sector, charities and businesses. Most of the experts have a social science background and use a mix of different methods and approaches to help better understand people and society’s roles in addressing climate and environmental challenges.

We are very keen for this database to support collaborative work – particularly between universities and policy-making government departments, public organisations, charities, businesses and the media.
