From 10 to 12 April, the UN Ocean Decade Conference takes place in Barcelona, Spain. The event covers critical issues such as climate change, food security, sustainable management of biodiversity, sustainable ocean economy, pollution, and natural hazards. Closer to home we ask the question – What does it mean to be a marine citizen? Can anyone be one?

Enjoy this short 2 minute film based upon research by Pamela Buchan, ACCESS Leadership College Fellow at the University of Exeter. Pamela co-created the film with Plymouth Sound National Marine Park and Ocean Conservation Trust with funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
