Parliament for Early Career Researchers: how to engage with the UK Parliament

This government training session gives an overview of the UK Parliament and how Parliament uses research. It covers ways to work with the institution as a researcher including details on select committees, the House of Commons and House of Lords Libraries, and POST. The session also explores working with individual Parliamentarians.

The training is aimed at early career academic researchers, and explores how to engage with the UK Parliament while juggling research, teaching and kickstarting a career. It focuses on practical information and advice.. The main presenter is Naomi Saint, Knowledge Exchange Manager, UK Parliament.
