It provides a detailed assessment of how well local communities are served by parks and recreational areas, helping to guide policy and improve urban planning for better public health and well-being.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessing the data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/fieldsintrust.org\/insights\/green-space-index\">Green Space Index (GSI)<\/a> key findings and interactive maps are <a href=\"https:\/\/experience.arcgis.com\/experience\/405187bb87f041c9a4d70c6b346c5bc4\">available here<\/a> for 2024. The data is updated annually, with updates published in late May\/early June.
