ReliefWeb’s disaster database, provided by OCHA, provides comprehensive and up-to-date information on global humanitarian crises, including natural disasters, conflicts, and complex emergencies. It offers detailed reports, response efforts, and data from international organizations, governments, and NGOs to support effective decision-making in disaster response and relief.

Accessing the data

Data on past and ongoing disasters can be accessed on the Relief Web website by clicking on the Disasters tab. You can explore Alert and Ongoing disasters using the interactive map, or filter the list of disasters based on Country, Disaster Type, Status, and Date.

Click on the relevant disaster to see a Description, Appeals and Response Plans, and Latest Updates.

You can also explore the broader humanitarian situation in each country using the Countries tab on the Relief Web homepage.
