The Global Atlas of Environmental Justice (EJAtlas) is an interactive map and database that documents environmental justice conflicts around the world. It provides case studies and detailed information on various environmental conflicts, highlighting the social, environmental, and economic dimensions of each case.
Accessing the data
The EJatlas maps environmental justice conflicts across 10 main categories, for example, ‘Nuclear,’ ‘Waste Management,’ ‘Touristm Recreation,’ or ‘Biodiversity Conservation Conflicts.’ You can explore the case studies using the interactive map. You can also use the tools on the right hand panel to filter by country, company, commodity, or type of conflict.
