Personal statement:
I am a Senior Research Officer in the Agriculture, Food and Drink Analysis Unit, a part of DG Net Zero in the Scottish Government. I lead on the design and management of social research that underpins the decisions being made on the future of agricultural support, working with stakeholders to co-design a tailored and supportive system that will help to meet Scotland’s climate and biodiversity goals. Prior to joining government, I undertook a PhD on the interplays of property rights and ownership in our oceans, and changing marine policy in Scotland.
Key topic areas of research or interest:
My research interests include behaviour change and incentivisation, farming values and attitudes, rural policy making, and equalities and inclusion in farming.
