About my experience and expertise

Personal statement:

I am a researcher working at the policy-academia interface on sustainable development governance and environmental policy. Since 2017 I have been employed in the Air Quality Management Resource Centre (AQMRC) at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol, where I now work as a Senior Research Fellow. My academic background is in Public Policy and Environmental Policy, in which I have two Masters’ (at LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome, & at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences). In 2017, I completed a PhD at the University of Bristol (Geography department).

Key topic areas of research or interest:

I am Political Scientist with interest in Sustainable Development and Well-being Governance; Environmental and Climate Change Policy; Just Transitions. I am interested in exploring the roles of institutions and governments in pursuing sustainable development principles and goals, and how they translate this in policy and decision-making practice. In the past 18 months I have been working with futures and foresight approaches and on how governments are pursuing future-regarding decisions.
