About my experience and expertise



Personal statement:

I am a transdisciplinary research fellow at Loughborough University specialising in Climate and Environmental Education and Adaptation with children, youth and intergenerational communities. I have over 25 years experience of working with children, youth and families in social, youth and education sectors where I have utilised my training in play, creative and outdoor therapies.

I use Creative Participatory Action Research and Action Based Storytelling methodologies with children, youth and communities, building on my years of experience as a practitioner by placing people at the very heart my research. My research extends across international and UK boundaries focusing on place-based relationships to address climate, environmental adaptation, preparedness and education.
